BEFORE UNINSTALLING THE COMPONENT ««
All the honoured
users of ProFX+ ASP Chart Component please do not UNINSTALL
the component diretly. The Installer/Uninstaller knocked out
one of ProFX+ user's system due to faulty uninstall script.
The Installation Setup has been generated using Wise Installmaster
and during the creation we have not gone through the detailed
installation script as it has been generated by the wizard
option. After installation, the installer generates a Install.Log
file in ProFX installation directory (mostly c:\Program Files\ProFX).
Around line no. 61 in Install.Log file there is a command
"delete in-use files: on" and "File Tree: c:\winnt\system32\".
While uninstalling, the Uninstall program (Wise) some times
deletes C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder i.e. the Windows gets deleted.
It is requested
to all the new and old users that edit the log file using
some text editor and remove all the lines having "File
Tree: c:\winnt\system32\" entry. After this you can safely
uninstall the ProFX Component. CodeFoundry is very much apologize
for such an unintentional fault left in the uninstallation
process.

A patch for
Chart Background Color for ProFX version 2.2 is available. If you
get any such problem with version 2.2, you can download the modified
DLL from above download mirrors.
